Batman Arkham Origins: 10 Amazing Hidden Easter Eggs & Secrets You Need To Find

10. Dickson Dock

Dickson Dock We have an early Easter Egg from the trailer to start things off. Warner Bros Montreal clearly decided to set their stall out early to let fans know that they were as committed to the fan-service nods and Batman Easter Eggs that Rocksteady had previously brought to Arkhams Asylum and City, which accounts for the numerous interest points hidden in the trailer. The most notable initially comes as the camera pans across the docks, and we see from the dilapidated illuminated sign that we're at Dixon Docks, an importantly named landmark, and perhaps a monument to one of Batman's most famous writers. The name is of course a nod to Batman veteran writer Chuck Dixon, who was one of Detective Comics' most prolific writers during the 1990s, working on major Batman stories like "KnightFall'" and "KnightsEnd", "Contagion", "Legacy", "Cataclysm", and "No Man's Land". Thanks too his work on KnightsEnd, Dixon was also instrumental in the creation of Bane. Dixon is Batman royalty, having pioneered the individual series for Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl, and it's extremely fitting to see a homage, no matter how brief to the great writer in the game.
