9. The Villain Posters

Clayface As you travel around the game environment, you will be struck by how many posters are around. Gotham obviously has a fertile history of theatricality, both inits make-up and the cultural bent of its citizens, so this isn't exactly surprising, but a number of the posters feature references to unseen Batman villains, supporting characters and events. The inference is of course that this is Karlo before his breakdown, which lead to his crimes and subsequent transformation into the real, shape-shifting Clayface we are probably more familiar with. Before that he was merely a disgruntled, lunatic actor, driven mad by someone remaking a film he starred in (the poster for which was an Easter Egg in Arkham City.) Another favourite poster features reference to the Flying Graysons, offering a tantalising hint at Robin's origin happening very soon after the events of the game... Flying Graysons
