Batman: Arkham Origins 2 - 10 Big Things It Can Fix From Knight

10. The Batmobile

What better way to start the list than to dive straight into Knight's most detested feature? Of course, we all knew straight from the start that the Batmobile wasn't going to be anything near as what it was cracked up to be by Rocksteady, but that sure didn't stop us from hoping we'd be proven wrong. Though it's true that some were more than pleased with its inclusion in the franchise, most players were left irritated by the way it unbalanced the Arkham formula - an upset amplified evermore by the game's insistence that the player use it at every turn. There is a way to include the Batmobile in a manner that will please the majority however - a way which is far less intrusive on the game's experience than Knight's was. The main thing here would be to make the vehicle entirely optional for those who wish to use it, and also to get rid of that garish 'Battle Mode' ripped straight from High Moon's Cybertron games. If fan reaction is anything to go by it's pretty obvious fans don't want to 'be the Batmobile' - it's a tool, not a crutch. Give players the opportunity to truly invest in Batman's ride the way they want to and they will - just look at Asylum's Batmobile for inspiration though, as it was by far the coolest one in the series.
