4. Lazy Boss Fights
After showing how challenging and inventive boss fights could be with Mr Freeze in Arkham City, Rocksteady just went and pulled a complete U-Turn and thought "hmmm, how can we best re-skin this?" It was especially poor considering WBGM threw down the gauntlet fairly spectacularly with their numerous bosses in Origins, but what we saw in Knight were basically glorified drone battles and predator encounters - not particularly great all things considered. Any Origins sequel really has the potential to make boss encounters really challenging and dramatic again, with a wide bevy of villains to choose from really adding variety to the story's proceedings. Of course not every boss can be a perfect encounter, but practically anything different would be an improvement over what we were offered in Arkham Knight.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
