Fans of the Arkham series have been waiting to see Killer Moth appear for over 10 years now. His existence in the series' universe was confirmed in a character bio in Arkham Asylum, accompanied by artwork displaying his special design made just for the series. However, he still hasn't appeared despite many games being released in the series since then.

Killer Moth is a very colorful villain, which makes him distinct from a lot of the villains that the series has included so far. He would provide a stark contrast from the dark, muted world of Gotham City. He could potentially become one of the most visually memorable villains Batman has faced off with yet.

With his ability of flight and his unique cocoon gun, he would also make for a more interesting replacement for Firefly, a character who has already appeared multiple times. His gear gives him a unique fighting style, allowing him to seal his enemies in a cocoon-like substance. This is evidenced by the dead inmates that are encased within cocoons in Arkham Asylum.

His unparalleled skillset would give him a boss encounter unlike anything we've seen in the series. Batman would have to avoid being ensnared by his cocoon gun or he would be pinned down, open to taking hits from Killer Moth before he broke free. This would force the player to remain very mobile during their battle with him.
