Another common complaint about Telltale's games is that the episodes are far too short, and tend to conclude just when they're hitting their stride.

Thankfully, the first episode of The Enemy Within is one of the longest episodes from any Telltale game to date, clocking in at almost 2.5 hours and so essentially running the length of your average Batman movie.

For all of the game's flaws, it's clear that a ton of effort has been put into creating an epic, sprawling story with plenty of character detail, rather than a quick cash-grab, even if the aforementioned disappointing visuals might initially suggest otherwise.
