Battlefield 1: 15 Crucial Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

5. The 'Hidden' Cavalry And Tank Classes Are Essential

Even though you can only choose between the classic Assault, Medic, Support and Scout classes when you deploy in Battlefield 1, there are actually two more "hidden" classes you can choose from, each with their own unique weapons and gadgets.

Because if you spawn directly into a tank or straight onto a horse you'll be allocated the Tank and Cavalry loudouts respectively, giving you an entirely different arsenal to the one you might have expected to spawn with.

It's worth knowing before you spawn in, as the weapons you're given for these classes are comparatively worse than those found in the regular loadouts, as the game expects you to stay with the vehicles until you die.

I recommend tweaking these loudouts on the companion app before you jump in, just to make sure you're not left on your own armed with a weapon you don't know how to use.
