Battlefield 1: 15 Crucial Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

1. There's No Point Skipping Revives

When the beta for Battlefield 1 hit a few months ago long time players lost their minds - and not for the reasons you might think. DICE's controversial decision to change the game's revive system so every player had to opt in to show up on the radar of nearby medics shook the entire community, with many fans holding premature funerals for their once favourite class.

But since then and launch, the developers have tweaked the class so that it more closely resembles that of the previous games, where players able to be revived automatically show up on the mini-map to alert medics in the vicinity.

However, players can still opt to skip this process and send them straight back to the respawn screen where you choose to redeploy. But here's the thing: there's absolutely no reason to do this.

It doesn't speed up the amount of time it takes to get back in the game by skipping, and if anything it means you're more likely going to be out of action longer because nearby medics can no longer bring you back into the fold.

So unless you're wanting to change your loadout before you redeploy, don't skip the option to be revived as soon as you die - you're only reducing your chances of getting back into the fray as quickly as possible.
