Battlefield 1: 15 Crucial Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
2. Pretty Much Everything About The Operations Mode
When I first jumped into Operations mode with my friends I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Not available to choose as an option in the server browser or quick match menus, the mode has its own separate window when you boot up the game. And for a good reason: It's the best way to play Battlefield 1.
Taking place over different fronts, the game mode is essentially a mix of Rush and Conquest, tasking you with capturing two to three objectives that forces the enemy to retreat to a different section of the map until one of you gives.
However, a single Operation often spans two different maps entirely, meaning that there'll be a small loading intermission that divides the two sections of the mode. Simply because of the cutscenes that bookend each map it feels as though the match is finished, so make sure you don't back out the first time you play.
So just remember: Operations isn't over until you see the final scoreboard telling you so.
