Battlefield 1 Open Beta: 5 Ups & 5 Downs
1. There's Only One Map To Try

Of course, the final game will have a ton of maps to blast through, but it's a shame that this beta test only features the Sinai Desert one.
While DICE stated that the beta was largely to stress-test the servers above all else and therefore shouldn't be considered a demo as such, it still seems rather stingy that players weren't able to get the feel for a second map, which might make the game seem more worthy of a purchase.
It's a double-edged sword in reality: if DICE added another map and players hated both maps then they've lost sales, but a second map could also convince those who were on the fence after playing Sinai Desert.
It's a fun map, for sure, but given that this is a lengthy beta, some added diversity would've gone a long way.
And now let's look at what really works in Battlefield 1's open beta...
