Battlefield 1 Open Beta: 5 Ups & 5 Downs
2. The Incredible Sound Effects
Again, it's a staple of the Battlefield franchise at this point but no-less praise-worthy: this is an incredible-sounding game.
From the diverse array of gunfire to the crisp explosions and purr of your vehicle, it'll all make the most out of your speaker set-up and probably make you wish you had a better one.
The "War Tapes" audio setting is particularly fun in so much as it trades realism for sheer, balls-to-the-wall awesomeness, pulling sounds from both near and far and mixing them into one intense wall of noise that's nothing if not extremely immersive.
As beautiful as the game looks, arguably nothing will give you a more adrenaline-fueled experience than pumping the volume up loud before letting rip with your mounted machine gun. It's glorious.
