Battlefield 4: 10 Impressions From The Beta

8. Team Tank Takedown

Tank1 In Battlefield 3 you really had to have an adept engineer and support to have much of a chance against a tank on foot, but this time it seems every class has at least something that can do damage or help damage a tank. Whether it be the recon with C4 and laser designated goggles meaning every rocket fired will hit the tank and not miss, the assault with their grenade launcher and support with their burst gun and of course engineer with RPG. The burst gun and grenade launcher don€™t do a tonne of damage, but sometimes it is just enough to get the upper hand, with tight corners and more hiding places a tank can be very easy for a team takedown.

7. Less Ammo

Ammo Imagine my surprise as I run into a room with five guys who are clueless to my presence, I knife one and begin firing my rifle at the others, one goes down, then another, then another and then €˜click€™€ suddenly I€™m on the respawn screen. This is something that never really happened in BF3 but be warned that BF4 has less ammo, not only do some guns have less ammo loaded but you can also carry less meaning that support class is very important in this game. I found myself going nearly entire matches with a pistol as I had drained my rifle dry and there were no support guys around, or if they were, no one was dropping ammo packs. This will bring a lot of interesting gameplay but one thing is for sure, you need to learn not to spray and prey.
