Battlefield 6: 10 Ways EA Can Win Back The Fans
5. Rework Vehicles
If Battlefield 6 wants to make the most of land, sea and aerial combat then it needs to do better in how it implements vehicles into gameplay.
Battlefield 5 was criticised heavily for its lack of naval combat, so adding something like the Patrol Boats from Battlefield 4 would be enough to get a lot of fans excited for Battlefield 6. But then, there is the issue of balancing and team play with vehicles too.
Battlefield 3 and 4 do an ok job at making players feel powerful and effective in a vehicle on their own, but with a full squad they are even stronger. In contrast to this, players can operate a tank in Battlefield 5 all on their own, and only have to worry about restocking their ammo as they tear everyone on the server to pieces.
To fix this issue, vehicles could be designed so that they require multiple players to operate specific functions, such as driving, targeting enemies, firing weapons and managing repairs. This could stop individual players from single handedly dominating matches while also offering a satisfying experience for those who make the most of playing the game as part of a team.
