Battlefield V: 12 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
4. Headshots Boost Damage
In all Battlefield games, headshot damage has always been present. While that's most obvious in sniper rifles, which become one-hit-kill machines, the damage multiplier effects every weapon, and the latest sequel has made this feature even more important.
Time-to-kill is already extremely quick in EA's release, but it can be sped up even more by aiming for an enemy's head. You'll know if you've shot them in the critical area as the hit-marker will turn orange, which lets you know you've inflicted more damage and are in for a guaranteed kill if you keep going.
Again, it's a subtle inclusion, but it can mean the difference between taking someone down with two or three shots in the heat of the moment. It'll be features like this that will mark out the good Battlefield players from the great, by rewarding accurate shooting rather than just hoping for the best.
