Battlefield V: 12 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
8. The Medic's Smoke Grenade Will Help You Revive In Peace
Of all the changes made to the classes between Battlefield 1 and V, it's perhaps the medic which has been impacted the most. The biggest alteration is that revives are no longer instant, but accomplished through an animation, while squad members can now revive each other at any time, regardless of their class (which admittedly takes a little longer).
However, that change has meant that the medic's revive syringe is no longer tied to a gadget slot, instead coming equipped no matter your loadout. Now, that slot is taken up with a smoke grenade launcher, which is an incredibly useful tool both offensively and defensively.
First and foremost, though, it makes reviving players a dream. Having to engage in an animation to pick up a teammate can lead to you getting shot in the back, so you want to fire off one of those smoke grenades next to them first, which will render you virtually invisible while you conduct your doctorly duties.
