Battlefield V: 12 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

6. You Can Always Grab A Ledge

There's nothing worse than accidentally falling to your death in a multiplayer shooter. Thinking you can jump across a gap, with visions in your head of making it to the other side and flanking five enemies with a quick burst of an SMG, has resulted in so many unnecessary deaths - deaths that BFV has tried its best to make sure never happen.

Constantly tweaking their already fluid movement system, you can now grab onto ledges by holding the jump button near one, to either get to higher or lower ground, or to save yourself after a botched leap. With this in mind, traversing Battlefield V's maps becomes almost Mirror's Edge-esque, as you use the environment to imaginatively get around the most vertical parts of each area.

Even if you're not that skilled though, it should at least save you if you fall off a barrier, or want to leap across a bridge that's been blown all to hell.
