Before FIFA 13: The Evolution Of Football's Biggest Gaming Franchise

1995 - FIFA 96 FIFA 96 represented a massive leap in the quality of graphics in the series, replacing the crude, pixelated graphics of its predecessors with real-time 3D graphics on the PC and Playstation consoles. Fictional player names were replaced with real life player names and, in addition to the eight Leagues made available in FIFA 95, the Scottish Premier League, Allsvenskan and Super League Malaysia were introduced. For a more realistic experience, gamers were allowed for the first time in the series to manage player transfers, with play positions, tactics and rankings also lending to more authentic gaming.
