Before GTA V: 10 Reasons We're Still Playing GTA IV

4. Episodes From Liberty City

After the main storyline is finished, there isn't a whole lot to do. You can meander around and find the random strangers to help out, or finally take Roman bowling, but other than that there isn't much. This is where the Episodes come in. Johnny Klebitz brings in a whole new side of Liberty City that isn't covered as much in the main story. Focused primarily in Alderney, the player sees the industrial side of the city that isn't nearly as glamorous as Algonquin. As well, a greasy bike gang rivalry surrounds the player as they deal with the internal and external struggles of The Lost Motorcycle Club. With Luis Lopez, players see the upscale, "glamorous" side of city living that isn't revealed with the other stories. From the focus on drug dealing and clubbing to storyline interweaving and returning characters, Luis shows players the struggle between family and friends. The Episodes of Liberty City give players three very distinct, very different views of the same exact city, all while staying very true to the premise of Grand Theft Auto - money, power, and respect.
