6. Vehicle Thefts

The titular Grand Theft Auto. Each game in the main series since GTA3 has featured a series of lists requesting the delivery of specific vehicles, which can be found, stolen and delivered to a specific area for a cash reward (and in GTA:SA), the ability to purchase a selection of rare cars. Like the Nicolas Cage film with a similar premise, Gone In 60 Seconds, the lists often feature vehicles that are difficult to track down or steal, but they provide incentive for exploration of areas of the map that may have been neglected to other missions in the game, and an opportunity to take control of vehicles that may have previously been ignored.
