Before GTA V: 5 Reasons Why Skyrim Is Better Than Grand Theft Auto

3. More Side-Quests and Miscellaneous Activities

When you weren't busy completing the main quests on GTA, you had side=quests to focus on, such as taxi driver missions, which pitted you against the clock whilst you raced around town picking up and dropping off fares, ambulance missions, which tested how quickly you could drop off a patient at a hospital, and even police missions, where you tackled the local gang crime. Whilst these side quests made for a welcome break from the main story, they were, much like the main storyline, finite. Due to Skyrim's Radiant Quest System, which generated infinite amounts of side quests for gamer's to complete, the word "finite" does not exist in Bethesda's title. There is literally a whole plethora o things to do, people to interact with, and errands to run. Sure, some of them are mundane and repetitive, like "Kill the dragon" or "retrieve my sword for me", but they still provided us with something to do long after the main quest had been completed. On GTA, if you had completed the game 100%, that was it. There is no such thing as "100%" In Skyrim.
