44. Snail Trail
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC9zUfKIFag Once more a mission that tested patience more so than how well you can shoot people, the subtlety and thrill of the chase was another diverse aspect of the mission play and made this mission just as intense as it was relieving when you finally completed it without a hiccup.
43. The Cars
No matter the size, the speed, the colour or how many old people you want to run in to; the vehicles in San Andreas catered to every desire, need or teenage boy fetish with its wide array of cars which had tonnes of diversity and even more detail in their different technical aspects and design. This attention to detail made this more than just a means of travel and more of an interesting discovery game in itself.
42. Home Invasion
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkOpicmOtnI One of the great examples of how San Andreas offered plenty of mission diversity; this had no guns, no car chases, just simple stealth and patience; and making this list for the very reason it shows just how diverse the missions in San Andreas are which is a factor that helps lift it above other games.
41. Gang Wars
This can be labelled as a shock attempt mores-so than story building; but the inclusion of these street gun battles is a, admittedly highly stylised, brilliant immersion in to the reality of gang life and the world of the hood which gives the inter gang wars referenced to in the missions greater punch as you realise what the price of failure is for the people for whom the gang means everything.
40. Catalina
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1xe_12oGOw The phrase women are bat-shit crazy, probably found its origin with the portrayal of this firecracker; in-comprehendible in her actions yet this made her all the more fun for it. She was a character you truly never knew what she was going to do for each mission and that made them all the more interesting. Her short run in the game does little to dent the fact shes a memorable character who leaves a last impact through her high octane missions and high octane levels of craziness.
