Before GTA V: Ranking GTA III Era Games Best To Worst

5. GTA: Liberty City Stories

gta-liberty-city-stories-staunton-island Something had to come in last place, and unfortunately for the 2005 installment of GTA, it had to be LCS. Set in 1998 as another prequel to GTA III, Liberty City Stories had the misfortune of being released only a year after the memorable San Andreas, with the PS2 port coming a year after that. Whilst it has to be remembered that LCS was the first to make a foray onto the PSP scene, which it achieved rather well, receiving positive reviews, a number of issues hindered the game; such as un-relatable music, changes in voice actors from previous games and poorly animated cutscenes. I would in no way describe LCS as a bad game, and it is unfair to brand the game as a direct follow-up to San Andreas, but unfortunately, Liberty City Stories, for me, is the most forgettable game of the GTA III era, and has to take the wooden spoon on this list.
