Before GTA V: Ranking GTA III Era Games Best To Worst

4. GTA: Vice City Stories

gta_vice_city_stories_3 The second PSP installment for the GTA series, Vice City Stories built on the platform that its predecessor had provided, and delivered an enjoyable gameplay experience. A prequel to the hugely popular Vice City, VCS integrated €˜Empire Building€™ into gameplay, and saw the return of memorable characters such as Lance Vance and Ricardo Diaz, along with ex-army veteran Phil Cassidy. Aside from this, VCS had the impressive honour of including a cameo appearance from Phil Collins, incorporating the music-star into the story-arc. Released on the PSP and PS2 in 2006 and 2007 respectively, VCS saw the end of the GTA III era, and although it was the last game of the era, it was set the furthest in the past, way back in 1984.
