Before GTA V: Ranking GTA III Era Games Best To Worst

1. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

The pinnacle of GTA, the crescendo of the work that had been put in for all 3 of the original GTA III era titles, San Andreas hit the shelves in 2004, and duly took our collective breath away. Those of you that have read my previous article about San Andreas will already be aware of my infatuation with this game, and I unashamedly declare, that I love San Andreas. Combining the usual GTA blend of controversy, violence and adult humour, San Andreas incorporated RPG elements into the gameplay, along with a gang warfare and territory mechanic, the latter undoubtedly a welcome addition. Aside from this, San Andreas provided the most missions, and biggest map a GTA game had ever seen, along with memorable characters and an impressive storyline to boot (not mentioning the appearance of Samuel L Jackson), the number one spot could only ever go to San Andreas, and for me, it is the best GTA instalment ever. So that€™s my order, do you agree? Or do you have anything that I€™ve missed out? Feel Free to comment€.
