BioShock Infinite: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

4. Zip-line Rollercoasters (Skyline)

This may be a childish inclusion, but after seeing the Skyline in action I think its mention can be completely justified. The Skyline is the name for BioShock Infinite€™s quick and not at all dangerous method of getting around Columbia. I think of it as an upside down rollercoaster merged with one of those playground zip lines you used to jump on as a kid, hence the personal name of zip-line rollercoaster, although the formal name of Skyline is just fine. These hazardous twisting tracks don€™t just look like practical methods of transport, it€™s clear they€™ve been designed to be methods of entertainment too. The ability to not only jump on those things and slide to destinations, but to leap with your Skyline utilising wrench to other tracks in motion and also attack unfortunate pursuing enemies with your spare hand, just adds to the excitement. I don€™t see something as creative as this being a one off feature either, I see it making a substantial appearance with plenty of opportunity for crazy action sequences. If that€™s not something to look forward to then you€™re probably mature and like story driven games, which this just happens to be as well.
