BioShock Infinite: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

5. Inventive Special Powers

Remember all the weird and wonderful powers you could harness in BioShock? The power to swarm an enemy with bees, set them alight or freeze them before finishing them off with a swift and confident smack of the wrench. Plasmids they were called, and it was such a varied way of killing your enemies, which is always welcome in the gaming world of predominantly gun focused first person shooters. It seems as if that Irrational Games liked these powers too as they€™ve returned, but in the form of €œvigors€ and €œnostrums€. BioShock Infinite€™s gameplay trailer sampled a few of these abilities, one of the more interesting being the wielding of a flock of crows to distress enemies, another being although the most impressive example of telekinesis that I€™ve seen with the catching of a fired shell, reversing it and propelling it right back at its sender. If these are just a few examples I€™m more than curious to know what the rest of BioShock Infinite is holding for us.
