Every boss encounter worth its salt in the Borderlands world comes complete with its own title card and catchy description, which have undoubtedly been used for many a persons screensaver. 9 Toes has one of the earliest, and also one of the funniest. He's the first boss of Borderlands, which means he already earns a special place in our hearts, but then he thrusts towards the screen and the title card reads 9 Toes: Also, He Has Three Balls. Outstanding. This boss was the just the beginning of a long line of strange and hilarious encounters which started us on the course of our love affair with the crazy residents of Pandora. There are so many great little details and moments in this series, and likely way more to look forward to in Borderlands: The Prequel and Tales of Borderlands.
