5. Claptrap Birthday Party
Along with the bandits themselves, Claptrap is very much the poster child for the Borderlands series, and he's the first friend the player makes in both games. Borderlands 2 offered a quest where we must invite the people of Sanctuary to Claptrap's upcoming birthday party, and in a devastating turn of events (which surprised no one, since it's clear that Claptrap just annoys the people of Sanctuary) no one shows up. Except you, the humble player, and Claptrap's faithful companion. You're then forced through several gloriously awkward minutes of two-man party, including a depressingly ineffective toot on a party popper and a large pile of uneaten pizza. Oh, Claptrap. At the very least, know that WE love you.
