6. Varied Skill Trees = Playing Your Way
Each class in Borderlands 2 has three separate skill trees that allow you to mix and match. This varied flexibility with character builds encourages multiple adventures with all of the characters in order to experiment and see the powerful vault hunters you can create. With the inclusion of so many different skills to select from Gearbox has created a shooter where experimentation is rewarded greatly, and it's a hard temptation to resist. You aren't bound by the restrictions of a character class, but instead are encouraged to see which ways you can use the character efficiently. Granted, many of the characters are best used with certain weapons, but it presents an entertaining challenge for the gamer that digs deeper into their purchases.
