4. Co-Op at its Finest
Co-Op gaming seems to have become a staple for any AAA title in the industry. The significant success of early co-op gaming on this generation of consoles has pushed the industry to make co-op a requirement, rather than an option. Yet, this never means that the co-op included is actually worth a damn. Borderlands 2 however fits perfectly in the realm of co-op and Gearbox has proved it again. Borderlands 2's single player experience seems to feel, well, wrong. Wandering the landscapes of Pandora like a lone wolf makes me feel lonely, as I make acid bullets rain on my enemies. I feel like deep down, the sheer insanity of the game is enhanced with a full co-op squad of four, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
