Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare - 10 Big Reasons To Buy It

9. Unique New Maps

If you've seen any of the pre-release footage for Advance Warfare, you'll know that the game has made drastic changes. The game plays faster and movement is key; Call of Duty's typically flat maps are in need of an upgrade to accommodate. Sledgehammer have designed AW's maps from the ground up so players can fully take advantage of their exoskeleton abilities. No doubt inspired by the growing popularity of MOBAs, Ascend features a three-lane design and a player-activated turret. Defender is a vertical map that you'll no doubt have seen in a trailer; it features a tsunami that drastically alters the map when it hits. In fact, most of the maps are now designed to encourage players to go vertical and battle for the high ground; it's a great way to use the tools the game is handing to you with the exoskeleton system. While there's (unsurprisingly) little known about the majority of the maps in the game, what we do know is mouthwatering stuff. Building them around fast movement and the unique abilities of the exoskeleton ensures maximum enjoyment of those features, with the dynamic events making certain game types more interesting by constantly changing or altering paths. It remains to be seen exactly how iconic this set of maps will be, but the signs are looking good.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
