Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare - 10 Killer Features It Must Have

6. Replay Value

A major problem with Call of Duty's campaigns is that they're slightly expendable. Generally, most people will play through them once to see what it has to offer this year, before never looking at the option on the menu again. Perhaps that's all people want from a Call of Duty campaign, but wouldn't it be nice to actually have a reason to return? Treyarch's Black Ops 2 is a great example of a campaign that rewards players for repeated plays. Not only does it feature multiple endings (offering a variety of different closes to the game's story arcs) but it also contains a neat challenge system which encourages players to replay the missions slightly differently. Completing all the challenges offers little reward (bar an achievement) but it's still something extra that keeps people playing. A lot of attention is clearly being given to Advanced Warfare's campaign after a poor offering from Infinity Ward in Ghosts €“ making the campaign a rewarding experience a crucial task for Sledgehammer. Seemingly small details like replay value could end up playing a huge role in the success of Advanced Warfare's campaign and giving ample reason for replaying would benefit everyone. Likelihood: Unlikely. This will be Sledgehammer's first full game so they're unlikely to make dramatic changes to the Call of Duty formula; expect another short but (hopefully) sweet explosion-filled romp.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
