2. Hover Bikes
Because, well, hover bikes! Seriously, how can anyone not be excited by the hoverbikes seen in the trailer? Vehicles have always been more of a Battlefield hook than a Call Of Duty one, but the option is there to ride hover bikes into battle, you know this is going to get peoples motors running (pun intended). They also appear to be mounted with guns, further increasing their ultimate allure as the perfect toy for war. On the subject of vehicles, there are also trucks, tanks, helicopters and cars shown. One of the biggest surprises shown is a brief shot from the cockpit of a ship mounted cannon firing off into the distance which of course means that throughout the campaign mode there will be at least one naval battle your character will be well and truly stuck in the middle of. What part each of the vehicles shown in the trailer will have to play is now very unclear. Its unlikely that Sledgehammer will attempt to take on Battlefield at its own game and implement full vehicular combat into the mix. When it comes to multiplayer, CoD has always relied on tight, fast maps and its even less likely that they will open them up to the kind of size required for vehicles to be brought into play in any significant way. That said, the prospect of blasting around in the hover bikes for a capture the flag style match is endlessly appealing.
