3. We Can Spread The Payments Over Different Credit Cards - The Price

Call-of-Duty-Ghost For some silly reason Skyrim and Call Of Duty games (the one's after Modern Warfare, because that was the first Call Of Duty right? and not World at War, that was never released either right?) both had the same purchase price, but one has AT LEAST 100 hours worth of game-play whereas the other has about 4 hours worth as well as repetitive on-line play. Now I know you're going to say that they're both completely different games and therefore shouldn't be compared, but I think we need to understand the work that went into the development of each game. Skyrim took YEARS to develop and whilst I found it to be a rather mediocre game story wise I still had fun playing it. Why? Because it's massive, we're talking about tons of dungeons and different enemies. Side-quests that may not seem fun at first, but will keep you entertained for an hour or so by allowing you to explore the vast and open world. If I look at my Steam right now I've got 248 hours logged on Skyrim and 14 logged on Modern Warefare 3, hell if I add up ALL the hours I have logged on Call Of Duty games it only comes out as 48. I can understand the whole point of Call Of Duty is to replay the same map over and over and over and kill the same people with the same weapon and I guess this appeals to quite a lot of people. I can't however get my head around why a game like this has the same price as games like Skyrim that give me a huge variety of things to do before I've even thought of installing mods. However it's the same as my complaints about EA, we all grumble about these games yet we still hand over the dosh. If we all stopped giving these developers and publishers our hard earned cash for these ridiculous games they would be able to sit in their golden office chairs reading articles like this, laughing hysterically and fanning themselves with my £20 notes.
