Call of Duty Black Ops 2: 10 Reasons It Will Be Game Of The Year
1. The Talent Few development teams can boast the collected talents that the development team have brought together for Black Ops II - not only are Treyarch themselves more than capable of producing an exceptional shooter - as indicated by the successes of Black Ops, but they have also assembled a team including the eye-catching names of Trent Reznor (on musical duty) and David S Goyer (who memorably brought Chris Nolan's Joker to life). Reznor's skills with help provide atmospherics to the game, and Goyer will hopefully add an even more compelling edge to what already reads as a great story (more of which soon). The inclusion of both talents suggests that Treyarch are committed to making something more than the empty-headed fun of running and gunning, with more gripping fundamental elements that will engage players on another level entirely. Hopefully the boost to the presentation of the game will mean a boost to gameplay, though of course there has to be some worry that Treyarch decide to take too much advantage of Goyer's participation and spend too much time story-telling with cut-scenes, rather than allowing the player to play.
