Call of Duty Black Ops 2: 10 Reasons It'll Be The Best CoD Yet

In keeping with wanting to entice as many players as possible to their hugely popular multiplayer online component, Treyarch have introduced something that fans have been wanting for a while - Ranked matches, something the likes of Halo has been doing for years. While players can still jump right into a regular game, the option is here for the game to "size you up", so to speak, take a gander at how you perform in a few games and then start placing you in matches that are better attuned to your skill, and the better or worse you do will reflect that. Furthermore, there will be a seasonal ladder system, giving the game a far more competitive feel than it has now, which largely amounts to seeing how many kills you've got compared to a mate on the buggy regular leaderboard. All in all, this will help ease casual players into things - who until now have been at the mercy of whoever they're unlucky enough to meet - and make for a more challenging experience for skilled experts.
