Call of Duty Black Ops 2: 10 Reasons It'll Be The Best CoD Yet

2. Zombie Campaign

While the use of zombies in a futuristic setting itself has some tantalising possibilities, the idea of the zombie mode actually having a dedicated campaign is music to our, and we imagine many, ears. While the regular survival mode remains, it is Tranzit that will be probably turning the most heads this year, a story-driven mode in which the player rides around in a bus, stopping off at various errors to eliminate the zombie horde before moving on. Also, it has been promised that our actions in the Moon map for Black Ops - released last year - will have something of an impact on our experience here, which is a surprising and encouraging move. Given the arcade-y approach taken to zombies previously - not that we're complaining about that, mind - it's nice to see Treyarch developing the idea further, and giving players more value for money beyond the multiplayer and what we are assuming will be a relatively short regular campaign.
