Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 - 10 Past Game-Breaking Issues That Must Be Fixed
9. Unbalanced Matchmaking
This game franchise is centred around arcade action and fast-paced connectivity. Truly, you're still able to kickstart a match in a lobby fairly fast, even if there aren't many people to play with. Advanced Warfare has done very poorly with its matchmaking system, making it difficult to get into game lobbies. At certain times it can take several minutes of trying to finally find someone to play with, which is hard to fathom on the latest entry in the series. The game’s supposed “skill based matchmaking” also seems to match you randomly with people who either have far more or less skill than yourself, defeating the apparent goal of that system.
Likewise, some games in the series seemingly penalise gamers who bought DLC by only matching you with other DLC owners. This means that you have an ever decreasing pool of people to play with just because you own extra maps.
Solution: Skill-based matchmaking should be removed, and the general setup should go back to the way it was on older COD games.
