Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 - 7 Reasons It's The Best One Yet (And 4 It's Not)

5. Female Characters... Finally

Treyarch have finally listened to the masses and decided to include female characters in the CoD franchise in a substantial way. For one, the single player campaign allows you to play as a woman version of the protagonist, even if it's a bit embarrassing that the game still refers to you as "him" in the very first mission regardless of which gender you pick. Still, the game doesn't take the easy, silent protagonist route: the unnamed player character has been fully voiced by both a male and a female, while the multiplayer mode also allows you to play as several women Specialist characters, who are well-designed and frankly look more bada** than most of the men. Though more cynical fans might say that Treyarch are pandering to politically correct fancies, women hold a significant share of the gaming pie, and so it only makes sense to see them adequately represented, especially in a game as insanely popular as CoD.
