Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Beta - 12 Things You Need To Know

10. The Time-To-Kill Is Ridiculously Fast

The CoD series is known for its frantic pace, which seemed to reach an apex with Advanced Warfare's ridiculously fast-moving exo-suit mechanics, but more crucial to the game's speed is the time-to-kill (TTK), which determines how long it takes for a hail of gunfire to kill an enemy. The TTK has always been relatively quick in the CoD games, and it's fluctuated a little over the course of the series, yet in BO3 it certainly feels like one of the fastest of the series. It's always going to be a matter of debate as to whether this is a good thing: many players get frustrated by being constantly mowed down so quickly by others (and it also encourages camping), whereas others enjoy the challenge. Given that this is a beta, it might be advisable for Treyarch to slow the TTK ever-so-slightly for the final product, because isn't a more prolonged gunfight more satisfying to the majority of gamers?
