9. Underwater Combat Is A Welcome Addition

One unnecessary but nevertheless enjoyable addition to BO3 is underwater combat, as evident in the beta's Hunted map, in which players can dive into several lush-looking pools situated around the complex. They're useful not only to evade enemy gunfire, but you can often dive in, swim through a cave and find another player hanging around, at which point you can pipe him full of hot lead. It simply adds another variation on the familiar CoD gameplay, and if the full game features other maps with plenty to do water-wise (perhaps a bomb to be diffused underwater?), then it'll prove to be more than merely an aesthetic novelty. Just be careful about staying underwater for too long, though, because you will drown.
