Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 - 8 Mistakes Activision Have Already Made

No campaign is just the tip of the iceberg.

After months and months of rumours, speculation and leaks, players finally know what form Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is going to take. For the most part, the leaks were correct: BLOPS 4 is shipping with a battle royale mode, without a regular campaign and with an overhauled Overwatch-style multiplayer suite.

Whether you think the changes are going to improve COD's stagnating formula (which was momentarily revitalised with WW2), it's undeniable that this year's instalment is going to be a huge departure from what players are used to. While that could be a good thing in theory - and if any of the three studios working on the franchise can pull it off, it's Treyarch - Activision have botched once-great ideas in the past.

In fact, now the developers have finally unveiled all three of their main game modes, it's already apparent that they've made a few mistakes which will no doubt pee off a huge portion of the community come October...
