Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta - 4 Ups & 5 Downs
1. Body Armour Arguably Breaks What Call Of Duty Even Is
An equippable perk that continues to cleave the fanbase clean in half, body armour gives you an additional health bar atop your regular one.
It means TTK (time to kill) is far higher as you can withstand many more bullets, and also means that even headshots don't take down opponents as reliably as before.
Basically, it makes the PVP of Call of Duty more in-line with a Titanfall, Overwatch or a Halo, than Rainbow Six: Siege or even past entries in the franchise itself. Understandably, changing these identifiable franchise elements has caused ructions so seismic, Treyarch themselves have responded with "Just give it time, PLEASE", but it's not helping Black Ops 4's case overall.
Going forward it's another year, another Call of Duty and another set of pernickety fan complaints. Let us know in the comments which ones you agree with, or whether BlOps 4 can weather the storm.
