Call Of Duty: Every Game Ranked From Worst To Best

11. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized

Call Of Duty Franchise
Activision

Despite the difficulty in accepting a game as complex and visionary as Modern Warfare on a platform as oddly suited as the Nintendo DS, MW Mobilized is actually a lot of fun. It was never going to compete critically or commercially with its big brother, but this was the most refined handheld title released in the COD name. And since it has its own story, it counts as a separate game (in contrast to the World At War and Modern Warfare DS versions released at the same time as the main games).

The biggest issue with it - particularly for PC gamers and those who rarely move away from conventional console play is the control system. A lot of environmental engagement is done using the track pad, and it's a set-up that requires the DS to be held in a very specific way. It's not entirely comfortable either.

It's an impressive smaller scale version of the great game, which does manage to mirror some of the charm and appeal of the original, even if it's a totally different experience. And as a DS shooter, it's great.
