Call Of Duty: Every Treyarch Zombies Map Ranked From Worst To Best
10. Gorod Krovi
Zombies fans had always wanted to visit Stalingrad. Give Nikolai a bit more of home.
Little were they expecting towering Soviet robots and fire breathing dragons alongside their usual serving of Zombies.
Gorod Krovi was our team's last hurrah before heading to Agartha (Revelations), in need of collecting Ultimis Nikolai's soul- who was piloting a mech whilst fighting dragons and drinking vodka- as you do. Seeing Nikolai face his mutual truth with his alternate self was a real heart-wrenching moment in the third act of the Aether story.
The Ray Gun Mark 3 (in the form of the dual-wielded GKZ-45 Mk3) was introduced, and it quite literally vapourised the undead. The fan-favourite PPSh-41 returned, the buildable shield could spit fire, you could have a little pet dragon as your special weapon, you could call in fireball strikes from a circling dragon- YOU COULD RIDE A DRAGON.
See why this map was a blast?
Defending Groph pods, battling electrified 935 drones, and doing the bidding of an A.I., all while avoiding a dragon who really liked setting fire to the floor- Gorod Krovi was both bonkers and brilliant.
