1. Cross-Platform Play?
Alright, alright, this one's a total pipe dream (at least in its grandest measure), but wouldn't it be fantastic to see PC gamers being able to face off against Xbox 720 owners and PS4 owners? Now, I know we're probably never going to see Microsoft and Sony players facing off because the two companies won't want to co-operate with each other to facilitate it, but given that new consoles are likely to resemble PCs more so than ever - just look at the PS4's spec! - it certainly makes this a far more plausible possibility for the future. Sony has at least made it clear that the next-generation of gaming is all about bringing our world closer together and integrating social gaming even more. What better way to do that than having players able to face off against a whole new legion of gamers. Furthermore, if Activision hosted console-specific wars, then it would allow players to fight for the supremacy of their chosen console. If Microsoft and Sony ever went for it - immensely unlikely though that is - then perhaps we could settle the Console War once and for all. What do you want to see from next-gen CoD?
