Call of Duty Ghosts: 10 Things To Improve

7. MORE FREAKING GUNS!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 It is safe to say that playing shooter games will, at least, give one a passing interest in firearms. And usually, this is one area where Call of Duty doesn't disappoint - its guns don't feel as satisfying as say, Killzone, and they don't have abilities that make you feel vastly superior to what someone else may be carrying, like what Resistance and Halo may make you feel, but the weapons in Call of Duty, other than the unrealistic ease of their handling, are getting repetitive. Black Ops II managed to mix that up by including a lot of concept weapons, and futuristic adaptations of current-gen weapons in it's armory. The Modern Warfare series, while improving in this aspect, is still largely predictable - I or any other MW player can easily predict there will be variants of the MP5/MP7, Remington ACR, M4, Barret .50, and AK rifles in the next game. Odd guns such as the Vector, Intervention, Chicom CQB, and unique sidearms tend to offer small deviations in the department of expected weapons, but why not include more? Developers tend to tweak the weapons so they look and feel different in the new iterations of each game, but they're largely predictable to me now - give me new tools to blow $#!& up with! There are plenty of foreign weapon manufacturers who make fine weapons, and in a diverse game that usually results in protagonists clashing with international antagonists, exotic weapons wouldn't hurt.
