11. Why Is This Scene Not Gameplay?
Operation Black Flag is up next, and sees Reyes heading to Earth to intercept sleeper agent Riah. However, his prisoner convoy is predictably attacked in an (admittedly gorgeous) video sequence...but why the hell wasn't the player made a part of it?
Wouldn't it have been so much cooler if we, the player, were able to be involved in this frantic car chase, either by being on the ground in a vehicle or simply following the carnage from our ship?
Instead this video just puts the player at a distance from it all, which given the series' usual focus on immersion and over-the-top action, feels like a major misstep.
