9. Admiral Raines Gets Liquefied

Mere moments after Riah expires, you're contacted by Admiral Raines, who wants a status update. It's sadly too late, as Admiral Salen Kotch's gigantic warship, the Olympus Mons, already has its weapons ready to fire upon Raines' position.

Reyes somewhat hilariously tells him to get to a bunker, but he has only seconds to live as the Mons' gigantic laser annihilates his office, sending the entire building collapsing in a ball of flames.

Aside from being one of the campaign's most visually stunning moments, if you look really carefully, you can see the precise moment on Raines' webcam (in the top right corner) where he gets turned from a human being into a pile of red goo. Charming.
