2. Time-To-Kill Is Too Low

The time-to-kill in any major FPS is always going to be a significant talking point among fans, and in fairness, mileage is always sure to vary between those who love twitchy, split-second TTK and those who prefer a more sustained battle with less predictable outcomes.

And while Modern Warfare certainly doesn't boast the lowest TTK of the franchise, it still feels frustratingly fast, especially given Ground War's more sprawling map layout and the greater travelling required to arrive at a gunfight.

Most encounters will simply come down to who saw who first, while a higher TTK would inject a greater sense of tension into the game as skilled players can turn the tide despite being fired upon first.

Again this is at least something which can be tweaked pre-release, but as it stands, despite the overall high quality of the gunplay, it feels like you're downed a little too quickly for combat to be fully satisfying.
